Frequently Asked Questions

What is your availability?
Tutoring sessions take place on weekdays Monday - Thursday between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST and on Fridays 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM EST. Each session is 60 minutes. The current schedule with available openings is displayed on the calendar page of this website.
What is your program?
My curriculum is created from multiple, reputable Orton-Gillingham resources including Dr. Fran Bowman's Orton-Gillingham's Phase One and Two, Lindamood's LiPS, Verticy Learning's Phonics/Spelling Program, and The Flynn System/The ABCs of O-G. It is further enriched by components of Barton Reading, the Wilson Reading System, and numerous speech-language pathology materials.
How do I proceed?
The first step is to contact me by phone (443-420-8534) or email for more information. Often, the student and I meet briefly to ensure the student-tutor relationship is a good match. Once the family is ready to engage my services, we compile and sign a contract. Our initial session begins with testing the student then developing plans for the initial phase of tutoring.
